How to Use the Wordle Solver
After each Wordle guess, type the same five letters into a row here, then click each tile to cycle its color to match what Wordle showed you: gray for letters not in the word, yellow for letters in the word but the wrong spot, and green for letters in the correct spot. The candidate list updates instantly to show every remaining word that fits.
Strategy Tips
- Strong opening words use common, distinct letters — think vowels plus frequent consonants like R, S, T, and L.
- Avoid repeating a gray letter in later guesses unless a yellow or green tile tells you it appears more than once.
- Use your second guess to test different letters entirely rather than reusing tiles you already know are correct — this narrows the field fastest.
- With more than one candidate left, prefer a guess that uses letters shared by the most remaining candidates.
